Hoshiarpur, March 22 (SK. SOOD)
Three motorcycle borne youths today came before the residence of Sukhjit Lal, alias Sabhi, son of Kashmiri Lal, at village Talwandi Ariyan and fired some shots towards his house.
According to SHO Bullowal police station Inspector Pardeep Singh, three youths on a motorcycle appeared before the residence of Sukhjit Lal and fired 6 rounds towards the house of the latter. After making firing, they disappeared on their vehicle.
He said that it was suspected that the firing was made due to some old enmity as FIRs under various sections of the IPC and under the NDPS Act had already been registered against Sukhjit Lal in various police stations of Hoshiarpur and Jalandhar districts.
Police had identified all the accused who made firing today and they all would soon be arrested, he added.
