Dr. Navjot Dahiya lodges complaint against Baba Ramdev, accuses him as the “insensitive and inhumane”

JALANDHAR: National Vice President of the Indian Medical Association today lodged a formal complaint against Baba “Lala” Ramdev and accused him the most “insensitive and inhumane” for “mocking and blaming” Covid victims for not breathing properly and even blamed medical fertility for misguiding Covid patients.

“Baba Ramdev is the most “insensitive and inhumane” as in a video he was “mocking and blaming” Covid victims for not breathing proper, resulting in high death toll” Dr. Dahiya said while lodging the formal FIR with the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Gurmeet Singh here yesterday evening.

In Ramdev’s video, which was handed over to the police, Ramdev allegedly said “Covid patients just don’t know how to breathe properly, and therefore, spread negativity and complain of shortage of oxygen and cremation sites”. 

Dr. Dahiya said that Lala Ramdev deliberately tried to misguide the people on the role of medical fertility and even blamed the hard-working doctors for excessive medicating the Covid patients leading to their deaths.

“Medical fertility is working round-the-clock to save patients and even strictly following the government guidelines, protocol and international standards for treating the patients”, IMA Vice President Dr. Dahiya clarified.

More than 900 doctors lost their lives while treating Covid patients throughout the country and this Baba is just “ridiculing” the lost sons (doctors) of soil, which have proved their mettle in this fight against Coronavirus, Dr. Dahiya said.
