HOSHIARPUR (ADESH PARMINDER SINGH) journalists’ today boycotted the scheduled press conference of central minister Vijay Sampla due to inordinate delay and his obstinate behavior with media persons.

ਮਾਨਯੋਗ ਕੇਂਦਰੀ ਰਾਜ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਵਿਜੇ ਸਾਂਪਲਾ ਵਲੋਂ 17 ਨਵੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਿਲ•ਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕੰਪਲੈਕਸ ਵਿਖੇ ‘ਦਿਸ਼ਾ’ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਜ਼ਿਲ•ਾ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਉਪਰੰਤ ਉਨ•ਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ 12 ਵਜੇ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰ ਸਾਹਿਬਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲਬਾਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਵਰੇਜ਼ ਲਈ ਆਪ ਜੀ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
However, when the media persons, including print and electronic, reached the venue on time this morning to cover the press conference, there was no one to attend even not a peon. After waiting more than an hour when a journalist asked him about press meeting astonishingly Vijay Sampla said in the meeting don’t afraid i am coming. A few journalists again tried to call him but he did not come.
After waiting long time more than an hour without any communication from him, the scribes decided to boycott the press meet.
Before leaving the secretariat complex, the journalist wrote a complaint letter to prime minister.
