ਆਪਣੇ ਹਫ਼ਤਾਵਰੀ ਫੇਸਬੁੱਕ ਲਾਈਵ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਅਪਨੀਤ ਰਿਆਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਆਇਆ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਕਾਬੂ ਹੇਠ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁਰਜ਼ੋਰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਸਮੇਂ-ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਜਾਰੀ ਹੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਮਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਉਣ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਮੁਕੰਮਲ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।

 
ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਦੀ ਮੌਜੂਦਾ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ 8 ਪੋਜ਼ੀਟਿਵ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਆਉਣ ਨਾਲ ਕੁੱਲ ਐਕਟਿਵ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 64 ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ 30140 ਸੈਂਪਲ ਲਏ ਜਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 28684 ਨੈਗੇਟਿਵ ਅਤੇ 601 ਪੋਜ਼ੀਟਿਵ ਪਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ 852 ਸੈਂਪਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਆਉਣੀ ਬਾਕੀ ਹੈ ਜਦਕਿ 55 ਸੈਂਪਲ ਇਨਵੈਲਿਡ ਪਾਏ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸੰਵੇਦਨਸ਼ੀਲ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ 17 ਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਨਾਖਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ ਜਿਥੇ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਖਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਲਾਗੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕੋਰੋਨਾ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਫੈਲਾਅ ਨਾ ਹੋ ਸਕੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਇਕ ਕੰਟੇਨਮੈਂਟ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਅਤੇ 2 ਮਾਈਕਰੋ ਕੰਟੇਨਮੈਂਟ ਜ਼ੋਨ ਐਲਾਨੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ 601 ਮਰੀਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ 520 ਮਰੀਜ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤੰਦਰੁਸਤ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਦੇ ਮਰੀਜਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਧਾਰ ਦੀ ਦਰ 86 ਫੀਸਦੀ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਮੌਤਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਦੱਸਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ 16 ਮੌਤਾਂ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਹਨ। 

ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਨ ਵਲੋਂ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਦੀ ਰੋਕਥਾਮ ਲਈ ਕੀਤੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਉਪਰਾਲਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਅਪਨੀਤ ਰਿਆਤ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਦੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਤੌਰ ’ਤੇ 211 ਬੈਡਾਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕੋਵਿਡ ਦੇ ਮਰੀਜਾਂ ਲਈ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ ਵਿੱਚ 3 ਥਾਵਾਂ ’ਤੇ ਇਕਾਂਤਵਾਸ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਲਟੀ ਸਕਿੱਲ ਡਿਵੈਲਪਮੈਂਟ ਸੈਂਟਰ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਰਿਜੀਨਲ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਡੀਗਡ੍ਹ ਰੋਡ ਸਥਿਤ ਰਿਆਤ ਬਾਹਰਾ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹਨ। ਅੱਜ ਆਏ 8 ਪੋਜ਼ੀਟਿਵ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ 4 ਕੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਮਾਡਲ ਕਲੋਨੀ, 2 ਸ਼ਾਲੀਮਾਰ ਨਗਰ, ਇਕ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਨਗਰ, ਇਕ ਪਿੰਡ ਕੂਕੇਵਾਲ, ਇਕ ਬਹਿਬਲ ਮੰਝ, ਇਕ ਕੇਸ ਤਲਵਾੜਾ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਕੇਸ ਸ਼ੀਆ ਚਠਿਆਲ ਦਾ ਹੈ। 

  ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਫੇਸਬੁੱਕ ਉਤੇ ਭੇਜੇ ਸਵਾਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਕਈ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਲੋ ਕੋਚਿੰਗ, ਆਇਲਟਸ ਸੈਂਟਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਲੂਨ ਅਕੈਡਮੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਣ ਬਾਰੇ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ’ਚ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੂਬਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਮੰਤਰਾਲੇ ਵਲੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਸਮੇਂ ਸਿਰ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਢੁਕਵਾਂ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।

ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਨ ਵਲੋਂ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਾਏ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਕੈਂਪਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਰਪੰਚਾਂ ਆਦਿ ਦੀ ਭਰਵੀਂ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪੁੱਛੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ’ਚ ਅਪਨੀਤ ਰਿਆਤ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਰੋਜ਼ਗਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਬਿਊਰੋ ਵਲੋਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੈਂਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਤੈਅ ਮਿਤੀ ਤੋਂ ਕਾਫ਼ੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਵਿੱਢ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਦੇ ਵੱਧ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੈਂਪਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲਾਹਾ ਲੈ ਸਕਣ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਤੋਂ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੈਂਪਾਂ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪ੍ਰਚਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਹੇਠਲੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਤੱਕ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਜਾਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਸਰਪੰਚਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਵਸੋਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਮੂਲੀਅਤ ਹੋਰ ਵਧਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ।

ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਰੋਕੂ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਵਾਲ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ’ਚ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਨ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਤਿਆਰ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਹਾਲਾਤ ਦਾ ਸੁਚੱਜੇ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਸਾਹਮਣਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਨਾਜ਼ੁਕ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਸ਼ਾਨਦੇਹੀ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ’ਚ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਲੋੜਂੀਦਾ ਸਮਾਨ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸ਼ਨ ਕੋਲ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੈ।

ਬਰਸਾਤੀ ਮੌਸਮ ਦੇ ਮੱਦੇਨਜ਼ਰ ਡੇਂਗੂ, ਮਲੇਰੀਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਨਾਲ ਫੈਲਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਹੋਰਨਾਂ ਬੀਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਰੋਕਥਾਮ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਵਾਲ ਬਾਰੇ ਅਪਨੀਤ ਰਿਆਤ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਨਗਰ ਨਿਗਮ ਵਲੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੀ ਜੰਗੀ ਪੱਧਰ ’ਤੇ ਮੁਹਿੰਮ ਚਲਾ ਕੇ ਜਨਤਕ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਘਰਾਂ ’ਚੋਂ ਖੜ੍ਹੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਉਤੇ ਲਾਰਵਾ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਘਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਨਤਕ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਉਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਜਮ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾ ਹੋਣ ਦੇਣ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਬੀਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਅਸਰਦਾਰ ਢੰਗ ਨਾਲ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। 

ਮਿੰਨੀ ਬੱਸਾਂ ਚੱਲਣ ਅਤੇ ਅਦਾਲਤਾਂ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਣ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਵਾਲ ਦੇ ਜਵਾਬ ’ਚ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵਲੋਂ ਹਦਾਇਤਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਸਾਰ ਹੀ ਅਗਲੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਈ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਅਦਾਲਤਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਕੇਸ ਵਿਚਾਰੇ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ।

ਅੱਜ ਤੋਂ ਖੁੱਲ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਜਿੰਮਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਜਿੰਮ ਮਾਲਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪੋ-ਆਪਣੇ ਜਿੰਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਿਹਤ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਆ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਨੇਮਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਖਾਸਕਰ ਇਕ ਦੂਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀ ਦੂਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਹਰ ਹਾਲ ਬਰਕਰਾਰ ਰੱਖਣ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਕਰੋਨਾ ਦਾ ਹੋਰ ਫੈਲਾਅ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕੇ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਜਿੰਮ ਮਾਲਕ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਾਧਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਪੜਾਅਵਾਰ ਐਕਸਰਸਾਈਜ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੁਲਾ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਦਿਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ-ਤਿੰਨ ਵਾਰ ਜਿੰਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੈਨੇਟਾਈਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਉਣ।

ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁਝ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਲੋਂ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਨਾ ਕਰਨ ’ਤੇ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਾ ਵਾਸੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਕੀਤੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ, ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਨਿਕ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪੂਰਾ ਸਹਿਯੋਗ ਕਰਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੈਂਪਲ ਦੇਣ ਵਿੱਚ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕੋਈ ਹਿਚਕ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਸਗੋਂ ਪੋਜ਼ੀਟਿਵ ਕੇਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਸੈਂਪÇਲੰਗ ਜਲਦੀ ਤੰਦਰੁਸਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਕੀਨੀ ਬਣਾਏਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪੋਜ਼ੀਟਿਵ ਮਰੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੰਪਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਏ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਝਿਜਕਣ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਜਲਦ ਤੋਂ ਜਲਦ ਸੈਂਪÇਲੰਗ ਲਈ ਅੱਗੇ ਆਉਣਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ।

COVID SITUATION IN HOSHIARPUR IMPROVING AND UNDER CONTROL WITH 64 ACTIVE CASESOF TOTAL 601 POSITIVE CASES 506 RECOVER SUCCESSFULLY 

 

HEALTH DEPARTMENT TAKES 30140 SAMPLES TILL DATE OF WHICH 28684 TESTED NEGATIVE WITH PENDING REPORT OF 852 SAMPLES

HOSHIARPUR, AUGUST 5 (ADESH) : With a view to beating COVID-19 far more efficaciously under ‘Mission Fateh’ of Punjab Government, the Deputy Commissioner sought wholehearted support and cooperation from people as the present situation of COVID in Hoshiarpur District was improving. She appealed to the people to adopt all the requisite guidelines issued by the State Government amid COVID pandemic in large public interest. 

During his weekly Facebook live session, the Deputy Commissioner apprised that there were total 64 active cases of COVID with addition of 8 new positive cases today. She said that as many as 30140 samples had been collected in District till date of which 28684 were tested negative with total no of positive 601 cases. He said that the report of 852 samples were still awaited while 55 samples were found invalid. 

Elaborating about the hotspots, Riyait said that there were total 17 hotspots in the district where health and safety guidelines were being meticulously implemented to contain the further spread of virus. She said that with the improvement in COVID situation across district as of now one containment zone and two micro containment zones were existed. She said that as many as 520 COVID cases out of total 601 had been successfully recovered, the district registered 86 percent recovery rate. She also informed that there were total 16 deaths due to COVID in district till date. 

Pointing out further that the district administration has made elaborate arrangement to take care and extend best possible treatment to the COVID patients, the Deputy Commissioner said that there were 211 beds exclusively set aside for COVID patients in Government hospitals. She also informed that the Administration had made three institutional quarantine centres at Multi Skill Development Centre, Regional Campus Panjab University and Rayat Bahra Campus on Chandigarh road with needful quarantine facilities. 

Giving details of today’s new 8 positive cases, She said that one  case was  reported from Model Colony, 2 Shalimar Nagar, one each from Preet Nagar, Kukewal, Behbal Manjh, Talwara and Shia Chathial. 

During Facebook live session, referring to a set of queries regarding opening of education/coaching/IELTS centres and saloon academies, Deputy Commissioner Apneet Riyait said that necessary and appropriate steps would be initiated as per the directions of State Government and Ministry of Home Affairs in this regard.

Answering another question regarding involvement of sarpanches and rural populace in job camps and employment functions in district, the Deputy Commissioner informed that the District Bureau if Employment Generation and Training always disseminates requisite information well in advance in the respective areas to apprise maximum youngsters about job camps. She also assured that in future publicity steps prior to such camps would be enhanced besides further ensuring maximum involvement of Panchayats & rural areas in larger public interest. 

Responding to another query relating to preparations and arrangements for flood control in district,

Apneet Riyait said District Administration was fully geared up to tackle any situation. She said that instructions had already been issued to identify vulnerable sites for taking up requisite precautionary measures besides keeping the adequate flood control material ready. 

Giving details about the anti water borne diseases steps being taken by the District Administration, she said that the Municipal Corporation had launched a vigorous mosquito-breeding detection drive by removing objects having stagnated water at public places and from the homes of people. She also appealed to the people to ensure there should be no stagnated water at public places and inside the premises of their home to contain dengue, malaria and other water borne diseases. 

On the issues of making mini-buses operational and opening of courts, the Deputy Commissioner said that as soon as the Administration would get directions in this regard requisite action would be taken. 

APPEALS PEOPLE TO COOPERATE WITH HEALTH TEAMS 

She also emphasised that people should come forward for sampling without any hesitation to ensure early testing, which could be helpful in early detection in positive cases. She appealed the people to cooperate the health teams to get their contact traced and sampling in larger public interest so that this virus could be contained.
