Aam Aadmi Party needs political oxygen- Cab. Minister S.S. Arora
 
·        Urges Political parties to rise above politics and support the government

The Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh was working round the clock to eradicate the Covid-19 epidemic from the state, however the cooperation of all sections of the society was essential to win over this situation, said  industry and commerce minister Sham Sunder Arora.
 
While interacting with the media persons after reviewing the preparedness to fight ongoing battle against Covid-19 in the district, the minister said that this was not the time for politics, and all political parties should rise above politics for the betterment of humanity and cooperate with the government on such issues.
 
He said that Punjab was the land of Gurus and saints and the people of Punjab had been involved in the welfare of humanity from the very beginning but some mischievous miscreants were trying to mislead them on the issue of Covid-19.
 
Describing the distribution of oximeters by the Aam Aadmi Party as a sham, Mr. Arora said that the Aam Aadmi Party needed political oxygen adding he said that there was no point in distributing oximeters like this.
 
The Cabinet Minister said that the Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh was very serious about the eradication of of Covid-19 from Punjab and he was holding daily meetings in this regard. Similarly, officials and employees of health, police and other departments are working hard to defeat Covid-19 at the risk of their lives and we must raise their morale.
 
Praising the efforts of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar district to control Covid-19, Mr. Arora appealed to the people to get their test done instead of being scared of Covid-19.
 
Earlier, he visited the District Hospital, Nawanshahr and reviewed the preparedness and services being provided to the Covid-19 patients there and gave necessary directions.
