Hoshiarpur, January 9 (S.S.)The CIA Staff arrested one person and recovered a .32 bore pistol alongwith 3 live cartridges from him. According to the police sources, a police party headed by ASI Navjot Singh of CIA Staff, Hoshiarpur, was tipped-off that Harjinder Singh, alias Raja, son of Mukhtiar Singh of Harpur PS Ghuman Kalan, District Gurdaspur, who was absconding in a murder case was coming in a car from Jalandhar to Hoshiarpur side. Two cases of murder was already registered against Harjinder Singh. Police intercepted the Alto car No. PB-07-W-6791at a check post (Naka) at Singriwala and on personal search of Harjinder Singh recovered .32 bore pistol alongwith 3 live cartridges from him. He was booked under sections 25, 54 and 59 of the Arms Act in Model Town police station.
