VACCINATION OF FAMILY MEMBERS OF FRONTLINE WORKERS STARTS IN POLICE LINES HOSPITAL

• NEARLY 5900 BENEFICIARIES GOT VACCINATED IN POLICE LINES HOSPITAL SO FAR
HOSHIARPUR, MARCH 28: On the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police Navjot Singh Mahal, the vaccination for family members of the frontline workers of the police department started today at Police Lines Hospital where as many as 333 beneficiaries including 156 family members of frontline workers got the jab of COVID vaccine.
Urging the family members of the police personnel in the district to take the vaccine as soon as possible, the SSP also mentioned that the drive would remain in process in coming days so that all the family members of these frontline workers, who are playing a vanguard role to contain spread of the COVID, could be covered. Navjot Singh Mahal said that the vaccine is being administered to the all eligible beneficiaries in the Police Lines Hospital from the very beginning of the vaccination drive with daily count of more than 300 beneficiaries.
Meanwhile, the District Health Officer & Senior Medical Officer Police Lines Hospital Dr. Lakhveer Singh stated that the family members of frontline workers could come for taking jab of COVID vaccine as today as many as 156 members got inoculated. He said that a total 333 eligible beneficiaries were received jab of vaccine in police lines while nearly 5900 beneficiaries had been vaccinated so far.
