MINISTER’s SON HANDS OVER KITS IN CIVIL HOSPITAL

HOSHIARPUR, MAY 29: As part of his own COVID-19 relief efforts, Industries and Commerce Minister Sunder Sham Arora on Saturday provided 1000 Fateh Kits in the local Civil Hospital, which would be beneficial for COVID positive patients in beating the virus effectively.

On behalf of the Minister, his son Prateek Arora along with Shadi Lal and others have handed over 1000 kits to Senior Medical Officer Dr Jaswinder Singh in the Civil Hospital. 

On his personal initiative to give fateh kits, Sunder Sham Arora said that the services and helping hand being extended to COVID patients by various social, religious organisations, individuals, societies, panchayats, clubs etc is commendable in these trying circumstances. He said that now the teams of health department would provide fateh kits at the doorsteps of COVID positive patients in home isolation immediate after the result of their sample. Health teams have already been directed to prioritise the deliveries of kits to patients without any delay, said the Minister adding that these kits would ensure self-monitoring of health status of patients in isolation by themselves.

Sunder Sham Arora assured that best possible treatment and healthcare services would be provided to COVID patients to get them well at the earliest. He said that the COVID wards in the Government Hospitals are equipped with advanced healthcare services and facilities so that any exigency could be tackled efficaciously. 

At time of handing over kits at Civil Hospital Chief Pharmacy Officer Jatinder Singh and store incharge Har Roop Kumar were also present. 

The kit will comprise an Oximeter, thermometer, topcid 40 mg, tablets of vitamin-c, vitamin D3, vitamin zinc, dolo 650 mg, livo cetirizen, multivitamin capsules, cough syrup, betadine gargles, giloy, amunity plus liquid and baloon.
