MEGA COVID VACCINATION CAMP TO BE HELD ON SATURDAY
DISTRICT HAS TOUCHED MARK OF NEARLY 13.40 LAKH DOSES SO FAR
DC EXHORTS BENEFICIARIES TO GET THEMSELVES VACCINATED AT VARIOUS SESSIONS SITES ACROSS DISTRICT, ADEQUATE DOSES OF COVISHIELD & COVAXIN AVAILABLE
HOSHIARPUR, SEPTEMBER 24 (ADESH, JASPAL DHATT, SOURAV GROVER, DHILLON) :
The District Administration is conducting mega vaccination camp on Saturday to administer Covishield and Covaxin to beneficiaries at different sessions sites in Hoshiarpur. The camp will commence at 9 am to facilitate beneficiaries till 2 pm.
Exhorting beneficiaries to get themselves vaccinated, Deputy Commissioner Apneet Riyait said that all the health centres in tge district would witness vaccination. Beneficiaries will get jabbed in city area at Government Dispensary, Nahar Colony, Bahadurpur, Aslamabad, Purhiran, Salwara, Police Lines Hospital, ESI Hospital, Civil Hospital besides Radha Soami Satsang Ghars including Kot Fatuhi, Mahilpur, Maili Thakkarwal, Nangal Shaheedan, Janauri and Nandachaur.

Similarly, the camps will also be held at Pandori Baba Das, Aahar, Talwandi Arayiyan, Salempur, Maruli Brahmnan, Sataur, Nawein Ghar, Baghpur, Hardo Khanpur, Aadamwal, Khun Khun Gobindpur, Pathial, Nasrala Station, CHC Sham Churasi, PHC Chakkowal, Civil Hospital Garhshankar, Sri Guru Ravidass Gurdwara Ghati Mohalla Garhshankar, Radha Soami Satsang Ghar Dasuya & Mukerian, Civil Hospitals Dasuya, Mukerian, Mand Bhander, Paldi, Thakkarwal, Posi, Hajipur, Bhol Kalota, Kamahi Devi, Buddabar, Bhangala, Tanda Ram Sahai etc. The Deputy Commissioner also informed that a camp at Safforn City in Hoshiarpur would also be held till 2 pm.
Apneet Riyait said that the district had already administered nearly 13.40 lakh doses of COVID vaccine, of which 947306 were first doses and 389251 were the second ones. She said that more than three lakh beneficiaries had already got two doses of COVID vaccine.
