BIJLI PANCHAYAT AT TANDA SOLVES 63 COMPLAINTS ON SPOT

TANDA HOSHIARPUR, OCTOBER 3 : In order to resolve grievances of consumers pertaining to power supply, billing and other issues, the POWERCOM on Sunday orgnaised its ambitious program ‘Bijli Panchayat’ here in a school premises, where 63 complaints were sorted out on the spot.
Giving details in this regard, Chief Engineer North Er. Jainender Dania said that as per the instruction of POWERCOM CMD A Venu Prasad such panchayats were being held in different division with a motive to resolve consumers issue within minimal time on the spot. He said that Bijli Panchayats were registering a major improvement in addressing the grievances of common masses besides strengthening the consumers grievances redressal mechanism across state. He said that at Tanda a total 72 complaints were received of which 63 were settled as per the satisfaction of the consumers.
