Hoshiarpur, Feb 26 : Under the direction of Secretary School Education Ajay Sharma and under the supervision of Director General School Education Punjab Pradeep Kumar Agrawal, a special initiative has been taken by the Education Department to conduct school level training of former mothers. Workshop is being organized on 2nd March for primary students.
Giving this information, Er. Sanjeev Gautam District Education Officer (EE) Hoshiarpur and Sukhwinder Singh Deputy District Education Officer (EE) said that the role of mother is very important in the personality formation and all round development of the child. Therefore the workshop being organized by the Education Department to educate mothers of students of pre-primary classes aims to provide guidance to mothers for the holistic development of their children and make them available in government schools. Awareness about quality to beget. More interesting lessons are being given. He said that after getting training in this workshop, these mothers would be able to make the mothers of other children aware and inspire them too.
He said that the department, realizing the importance of pre-primary education, is conducting pre-primary classes in all government primary schools. The objective of starting these classes is to prepare children of 3 to 6 years of age for primary education and their overall development. He said that special arrangements have been made by the department for the smooth conduct of this school level workshop. Special efforts are being made by the department to make the education provided to the students of pre-primary classes standard and interesting.
Giving more details about this workshop, Dr. Jarnail Singh Kaleke, Director, State Council of Education Research and Training, Punjab said that a letter has been issued by the office of State Council of Education Research and Training, Punjab to all District Education Officers (DEOs). Has been done. In this regard, according to ‘Punjab Padhe Punjab Padhe’, the teams will be trained about this workshop by the Headquarters on February 26. On February 28, teachers teaching in pre-primary classes will be given training and on March 2, the department will organize a school level workshop for mothers of students of pre-primary classes. The department has also issued instructions to the mothers of pre-primary students to send invitations to participate in this workshop and send messages to them through phone and social media. The department has given instructions to sit and provide tea to the mothers who came to participate in this workshop. The materials required for this workshop like worksheet, print/photostat should be prepared in advance. The department said that in this workshop for mothers, the instructions issued by the central and state governments regarding COVID-19 should be followed. The photos and videos of this workshop of mothers should also be shared through social media so that the participation of the society can be increased further in future also. The department has also issued instructions to inform the mothers about the graduation ceremony to be held in the month of March.
