Punjab State Child Rights Protection Commission Chairman Kanwardeep Singh chaired a meeting of the Vice Chairman and group members today at Forest Bhawan Sector 68 SAS Nagar. During the meeting, the complaints received from January 9 to February 6 were carefully considered and were settled by the Commission
On this occasion, while giving more information, Chairman Kanwardeep Singh said that the maximum complaints were settled during the meeting and it is also approved to issue Suo-Moto Notice by the House. He said that instructions have been issued to the transporters to follow the Safe School Vehicle Scheme issued by the state government.
Apart from this, he said that a decision for strict action regarding the promotion of songs and videos promoting drug and gun culture on social sites has also been taken.
The chairman of the commission informed that the viral news on social media sites that a school bus cruses a dog in Gurdaspur, the dog owners surrounded the bus and created a ruckus due to which the school children started crying in fear. He added that SSP of the district has been instructed to take strict action in this regard.
