Timing of government offices in Punjab changed from 9 am to 5 pm w.e.f. 17th July

The Punjab government has decided to change the timings of all government offices in the state and Chandigarh from 9 am to 5 pm from July 17, 2023. On the directives of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, official orders have been issued in this regard by the Chief Secretary Anurag Verma.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸੂਬੇ ਅਤੇ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਥਿਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਦਫ਼ਤਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ 17 ਜੁਲਾਈ ਤੋਂ ਸਵੇਰੇ 9 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ 5 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਮੁੱਖ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਅਨੁਰਾਗ ਵਰਮਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਬਾਕਾਇਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
