Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann released Rs. 62.70 crore to deal with flood situation: Jimpa
– Rs. 11 crore released for repair of roads and bridges only

Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has released funds worth Rs. 62.70 crore to all districts to deal with the flood situation.
Divulging the details, Revenue, Rehabilitation and Disaster Management Minister Bram Shanker Jimpa said that this amount will be used for the repair of water supply schemes, for the repair of flood-affected roads and bridges, for evacuating people to safer places, to provide clean drinking water and supply of fodder to livestock etc.
Jimpa said that recently Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had announced Rs. 71.50 crore as flood relief fund, out of this amount, Rs. 62.70 crore has been released to all the Deputy Commissioners/departments to deal with the flood situation.
He said that Rs. 1.50 crore has been released to Amritsar district while Rs. 1 crore each to Hoshiarpur, Bathinda, Barnala, Mansa, Pathankot, Malerkotla and Faridkot, Rs. 3.15 crore to Ferozepur, Rs. 1.15 crore to Fazilka and Rs. 3.15 crore released to Fatehgarh Sahib.
Similarly, Rs 2.50 crore each has been given to Gurdaspur, Jalandhar and Kapurthala. He said that Rs. 3 crore has been released to Ludhiana district, Rs. 1.50 crore to Moga, Rs. 5.65 crore to Patiala and Rs. 6.15 crore to Rupnagar.
The Disaster Management Minister further said that Muktsar Sahib and Taran Taran were given Rs. 2 crore each, Rs. 3.05 crore to S.A.S. Nagar, Rs 1.65 crore has been given to SBS Nagar and Rs. 3.40 crore released to Sangrur. Similarly, an amount of Rs. 50 lakh has been released to the Health Department for clean water supply and Rs. 10 crore to the Water Supply and Sanitation Department for the repair of water supply, drainage and sewage.
Jimpa said that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has repeated many times that it is the priority of the Punjab government to provide all kinds of assistance to the flood-affected areas and state has no dearth of money for this work. He said that no stone would be left unturned to help the flood victims. It is pertinent to mention that apart from this amount, the Chief Minister had released the first installment of Rs. 33.50 crore to all Deputy Commissioners last week to deal with flood situation.
Jimpa said that out of Rs. 62.70 crore, funds of Rs. 11 crore have been released only for the repair of flood-affected roads and bridges. Rs. 2.50 crore each to Rupnagar and Patiala while SAS Nagar, Gurdaspur, Fatehgarh Sahib, Ferozepur, Ludhiana and Sangrur have been given Rs. 1 crore each for the repair of roads and bridges.

ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਾਰਣ ਉਪਜੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ-ਵੱਖ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ 62.70 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੇ ਫੰਡ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਬਾਬਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਮਾਲ, ਮੁੜ ਵਸੇਬ ਤੇ ਆਫਤ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਬ੍ਰਮ ਸ਼ੰਕਰ ਜਿੰਪਾ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਜਲ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਸਕੀਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਲਈ, ਹੜ੍ਹ ਕਾਰਣ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੁਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੁਰੰਮਤ ਲਈ, ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸੁਰੱਖਿਅਤ ਥਾਂਵਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਲਈ, ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਾਲੇ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ‘ਚ ਪੀਣ ਵਾਲੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਲਈ, ਬੇਜ਼ੁਬਾਨੇ ਪਸ਼ੂਆਂ ਦੀ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਚਾਰੇ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਜਿੰਪਾ ਨੇ ਵਿਸਥਾਰ ਵਿਚ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਐਲਾਨੀ 71.50 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਲਈ ਰਾਹਤ ਫੰਡ ਵੱਜੋਂ 62.70 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਵਿਚੋਂ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਨੂੰ 1.50 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ, ਹੁਸ਼ਿਆਰਪੁਰ, ਬਠਿੰਡਾ, ਬਰਨਾਲਾ, ਮਾਨਸਾ, ਪਠਾਨਕੋਟ, ਮਾਲੇਰਕੋਟਲਾ ਤੇ ਫਰੀਦਕੋਟ ਨੂੰ 1-1 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ, ਫਿਰੋਜ਼ਪੁਰ ਨੂੰ 3.15 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ, ਫਾਜ਼ਿਲਕਾ ਨੂੰ 1.15 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਅਤੇ ਫਤਹਿਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਨੂੰ 3.15 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੁਰਦਾਸਪੁਰ, ਜਲੰਧਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਪੂਰਥਲਾ ਨੂੰ 2.50-2.50 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਜ਼ਿਲ੍ਹੇ ਨੂੰ 3 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ, ਮੋਗਾ ਨੂੰ 1.50 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨੂੰ 5.65 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਅਤੇ ਰੂਪਨਗਰ ਨੂੰ 6.15 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ।
ਆਫਤ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਮੁਕਤਸਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਤੇ ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਨੂੰ 2-2 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ, ਐਸ.ਏ.ਐਸ. ਨਗਰ ਨੂੰ 3.05 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ, ਐਸ.ਬੀ.ਐਸ. ਨਗਰ ਨੂੰ 1.65 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਗਰੂਰ ਨੂੰ 3.40 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਗਏ ਹਨ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਸਾਫ ਪਾਣੀ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਲਈ ਸਿਹਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ 50 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਅਤੇ ਜਲ ਸਪਲਾਈ, ਡਰੇਨੇਜ਼ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਵਰੇਜ ਦੀ ਰਿਪੇਅਰ ਲਈ ਜਲ ਸਪਲਾਈ ਅਤੇ ਸੈਨੀਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਨੂੰ 10 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
ਜਿੰਪਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਭਗਵੰਤ ਮਾਨ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਕਈ ਵਾਰ ਦੋਹਰਾ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ ਕਿ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਿਤ ਇਲਾਕਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਹਰ ਕਿਸਮ ਦੀ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਕੰਮ ਲਈ ਪੈਸੇ ਦੀ ਕੋਈ ਕਮੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਉਣ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਹੜ੍ਹ ਪੀੜਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਹਰ ਸੰਭਵ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਨ ਵਿਚ ਕੋਈ ਕਸਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਛੱਡੀ ਜਾਵੇਗੀ। ਕਾਬਿਲੇਗੌਰ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਤੋਂ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੜ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਲਈ 33.50 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਕਿਸ਼ਤ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਹਫਤੇ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਸੀ।
