ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ (CDT NEWS) : ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਚਾਇਤੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ। ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੇ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਲਈ ਨੋਟੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ। ਚੋਣਾਂ 20 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ। ਪੰਚਾਇਤ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਇਹ ਨੋਟੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਰਾਜ ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜੇਗਾ। ਚੋਣ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨ ਉਸ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਪੰਚਾਇਤੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦਾ ਸ਼ਡਿਊਲ ਜਾਰੀ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਸੂਬੇ ‘ਚ ਜਲਦ ਹੀ ਚੋਣ ਜ਼ਾਬਤਾ ਲਾਗੂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।Chandigarh (CDT NEWS) : The Punjab government has decided to hold panchayat elections in the state. The government has issued a notification for the elections. The elections will be held before October 20. The Panchayat Department will send this notification to the State Election Commission. The Election Commission will release the schedule of Panchayat elections accordingly. Election code may be implemented in the state soon.

ਪੰਜਾਬ ‘ਚ 20 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ ਪੰਚਾਇਤੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ: ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ 15 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਪੰਚਾਇਤੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਦੀ ਫਾਈਲ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਭੇਜੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਸੀਐਮ ਮਾਨ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰੀ ਝੰਡੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸਬੰਧੀ 16 ਸਤੰਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਨੋਟੀਫਿਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਹੁਣ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਸਪੱਸ਼ਟ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਚੋਣਾਂ 20 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਕਰਵਾਈਆਂ ਜਾਣਗੀਆਂ।Panchayat elections will be held in Punjab before October 20: According to information, elections may be held on October 15. ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਪਾਲ ਗੁਲਾਬ ਚੰਦ ਕਟਾਰੀਆ ਨੇ ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਵਿਧਾਨ ਸਭਾ ਦੇ ਮਾਨਸੂਨ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਾਸ ਕੀਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੰਚਾਇਤੀ ਰਾਜ ਬਿੱਲ 2024 ਨੂੰ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਪੰਚਾਇਤੀ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਾਖਵੇਂਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਰਵਾਇਤ ਬਹਾਲ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਹੁਣ ਪੰਚ-ਸਰਪੰਚ ਚੋਣਾਂ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਲੀਹਾਂ ‘ਤੇ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਣਗੀਆਂ।Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria approved the Punjab Panchayati Raj Bill 2024 passed in the monsoon session of the Legislative Assembly a day ago.
