IMP. NEWS : CBSE’s New Initiative: 15% Syllabus Cut and 40% Internal Assessment Marks for Class 10 and 12″

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has provided significant relief to class 10 and 12 students by reducing their syllabus by 15%. In addition to this adjustment, changes have been implemented to the exam pattern, with 40% of the total marks now allocated to internal assessments and the remaining 60% for the final exams. This announcement was made by Bhopal Regional Officer Vikas Kumar Aggarwal during the Principal Summit held in Indore.

Aggarwal highlighted that this syllabus reduction aligns with the board’s advanced educational framework and aims to enable students to achieve a deeper understanding of their subjects by alleviating the pressure of an extensive curriculum.
